So, I know you all miss me, but do you have to appear in my dreams? I dreamed about all my sisters the other night. You all surprised me with a visit. Even DAWNA. And I had just read somewhere that if YOU dream about them it means THEY miss you. Make sense? Not really, but just go with it.
So, I'm all by myself for 2 whole weeks! Crazy I think? Dawna, where are you when you could be sleeping over at my place keeping me company and walking to work? Sorry to put you on the spot, but you're the ONLY one who would make sense to sleep over and you're not even here.
But this week is kinda sorta pretty busy so I should be fine.
I hope all the rest of you are doing just excellent!
*News just in* The peanut is still missing! A family meeting has been called and everyone's attendance is of upmost importance. Jeff's starting to think it doesn't want to be found. He exclaims "Oh, peanut, where can you be? {everyone hears crickets} Dwight yells that he's found the peanut. Dad calls bullshit. Dennis nods and seconds the motion. Andrew says he doesn't care who finds the peanut as long as it gets found. Rob just wants it found before it gets rotten. All of a sudden...

Where has everyone gone? i just thought i would let you guys all know, whether you care or not doesnt matter, but i just bought a new camera.I think i have the best luck with cameras, you know that old camera of mine, i actually loved htat one, it was cheap but it actually took good pictures, well that one has died.. so thats number three, well i guess you could say number 2 nevermind thats 3 that have died in my possession. Its actually quite irritating i must say.. So i have finally upgraded, its a more of a fancy camera thats for sure, its a fugifilm finepix thing, with 14 megapixels, and 18 optical zoom..just in case you guys wanted to know. i think its a bit like Moms..maybe a bit better, not sure.. i looked it up a bit.. doesnt sound terrible, not that i want it to be but i just hope that it doesnt wreck or anything stupid like that.. Cus with teh last two, they both have problems with teh lens, liek my canon one, it just says lens error, restart camera, so i do.. and it doesnt even freakin well try to move at all.. kinda frustrating. I was quite dissappointed/annoyed. I think more annoyed. Yup definitely more annoyed. Now i just cant wait to take pictures with my new camera. It better not disappoint me.. I just gotta figure out all the settings and all that fun stuff.. might take awhile.. Anyways that is all for now. Its pouring rain now, apparently theres supposed to be a big storm now.. this morning was so nice, with the sun and blue sky.. yesterday was like that too though sunnyish and warm, a little coldish at times when the sun was hidden but ya, now its just dreary rain, thats ok though.. its nice too sometimes.. Anyways i shall go now :D

This is gonna be the first year in my entire life that i am having my birthday in the winter..Never thought that would happen. Kinda cool though.. Its not too too cold here, but ive worn boots and tights already.. not that its freezing obviously, but it is cold ish. just chillyish here at night especially. well anyways i dont really have much else to say now

whats up here
Hello all. Thought I would do a short post, no pictures this time. Don't want to get an earful for not posting any news. :P So Gpa & Gma left for Edmonton Friday a.m. They weren't feeling well so postponed leaving by a couple of hours. They did not stay at Aunt Aaf's party too long. They were staying at Aunt Mennies, so they went there and went to bed. They think they caught something at D & L's b/c Dayna was sick when they were there. So it isn't my cooking :p
Anyway, field work has started. Did the grass field. Last year it yielded 55 loads and this year 25. Go figure. What with all the snow we had you would think the fields would be wet but no. Things are really dry here. The alfalfa field was started too with it laying in the field yet and then of course some rain came. not that much fell here. It is still something hard to imagine but just down the road more rain fell than here. Other people talk about 1/2" of rain or more and we talk less than 1/4", which of course it not enough to do anything but settle the dust. . Ya I know all farmers do is complain. :) Since not that much rain fell they might be able to haul it in yet today. Dad is trying to get the fields done before the gr 7-8 camping trip so that he can come along.
Last night we had to go to the Rev.'s house for a council get together. He does this every year. Lots of food and just mingle with the other members of council.
Dad had a hard time finding us in the bench at church. Yesterday he comes out of the door and looks and looks and slows down trying to find us till Cindy VandeRiet points us out to him. I want to try to be in the same bench every time but if it is taken what can I do? I think Dad will be able to sit with us every third week so then is when it counts. He says when you come out of the door all you see is a sea of people. So I know it is hard to find someone in that. Maybe I should wear an outrageous hat or have a card on a stick 'Here I am'.We will see how things work.
Today I plan to go to the city to buy the food for the camping trip. It will be a busy week, b/c I am head food organizer for this with everything having to be ready to go on Monday (and you know I hated starting holidays on a Monday) and on Friday I have to help with Rev. Tiggelaar's retirement dinner and then there is the field work. Hope I stay sane.
Anyway hope that tides you over, got to take a shower so that I can leave when the girls leave. Have a great day and week. Love you.
Update. I went to the city but before I left Dad says who is going to help so I said Missy, which she willingly did. Then then Jo gets a phone call about 1ish (cause our phone still isn't fixed) that R & T can get picked b/c power was out at school since 11. So Dad got it real lucky b/c then Ro could go out in the field too. 27 loads were brought in yesterday and the rest of the field cut ( Dad figures 30 loads worth) but NOW the RAIN comes, and the forecast isn't great for the rest of the week. So only time will tell if Dad comes camping with us.
Phone is supposed to get repaired tomorrow (Wed.) That's all.

Kyleigh's Graduation!!!
It was held in the church basement
They were proud as peacocks!
One of hte things the teachers commented about Kyleigh was her love of drawing- and having a hard time leaving any white uncolored on the page.
Graduating class of 2011!

Germs and Viruses.. watch out!
Today, on the way to swimming lessons, Mikenzie started another bout of cold/asthma.
After coughing for a bit she asked "Mom, what makes us sick?"
"Germs and Viruses" I said
She responded by saying "I don't like Germs and Viruses. We should pew him! I wish we could kill him, and make him dead cause I don't like to be sick anymore!"
(Pew in Mikenzies language mean shoot.)
Oh to have a 4 year old's perspecitve on these issues!
