Last week Monday Karen came over for a bit.  She sewed while I did all kinds of nothing.  But, dear Dawna, check out the necklace and bracelet she's wearing:)   Thanks for sending these treasures over to us!  You definitely did not have to do that but it sure was pretty cool!

sooo.. here is ONE picture of the grass. for some reason my camera had a really high iso thing.. oh well whatever its all good :D i wont put anymore grass pictures up, spare you the torture.. ok i guess they arent that bad.. but not that that exciting. ANYWAYS enough about the grass, im gonna look for another picture to put on :D maybe just one more.. not that its that great, i just feel like putting it up :P ok. gotta go now:D

*New* big news

Soooo.. i have got some news..and i dont know how else to tell everyone at the same time.. so i will just say it on here. And hopefully it wont be too long from now taht you guys see this. It sounds kinda silly ish writing it, but i now 'officially' have a boyfriend.. And the sucky thing about this is that you guys dont even have a clue who he is. i finally have a 'real' thing going on here, and you guys dont even have a clue who i am talking about... well maybe a slight clue, but not a big one thats for sure. And dont worry dad.. i dont know if you read this, but we have talked about the canada and australia thing.. hes still got to finish his apprenticeship.. so thats another 3 years.. I know.. thats a long time. but we will just see how things go.. haha.. ok shouldnt actually be laughing, and he was like you shouldnt be asking that. But i said you can back out if you want, like you can if you want. He was kinda annoyed with me i think cus he was like you are the first girl that i ve liked.. im not just gonna give up. I feel really weird writing this on the blog.. i hope other ppl dont see this.. cus im gonna feel really dumb.. so top secret! but ya we have been hanging out alot lately.. in his words shitloads.. so ya.. just letting you guys now.. This is weird.. i am no longer 'single', didnt think this would happen.. but thats all for now :D

we got a free piano from some friends it's going to go in our room b/c it doesn't fit in the living room nice and also b/c frankly it's too LOUD and the girls love it.

The plan is to put them in lessons one day...............then maybe i'll learn too.

too many tomatoes .................give this a try

Canned tomato soup

8 qts tomatoes blended
1 bunch celery and 6 large onions minced
1 c sugar OR br sugar
3 TB salt
1 1/2 TB pepper
1/4 c dried basil
1 c butter
1 c flour

Blend tomatoes. saute onions and celery. Reserve 4 c tomatoe puree. Simmer tomatoes with sugar,salt, pepper and basil for 1 hour. Cream butter and flour with hand mixer. Mix in cold tomatoe reserve with mixer pulsing. SLOWLY add to the simmering tomatoe mix whisking as you pour. If lumpy reblend.

Put in jars. Canner at 10 lbs for 10 minutes.
Makes 20 pints.

Heres a few pictures i took over the past monthish.. i looked and saw that i hadnt put much up lately, so here are some lovely pictures..the one with the grass and teh beach is quite bright.. sorry, my camera was being silly. lol that was just last saturday.i was with 2 couples betty and wazza, and mel and kane, wazzas brother.. so i had to find something to do while they were just sitting there lol they, well just betty and wazza cus mel and kane went with danny to watch him surf, were getting so annoyed.. Stop taking pictures!!! so i resorted to grass..the grass was quite interesting i must say. really i was like how shall i take a picture of all this wonderful grass. I took quite a few..Betty and wazza thought i was quite weird but i didnt care. this past weekend was quite nice. yesterday was 23.. very warm. and saturday and sunday were like 20 21.. it twas beautiful :D MAn this is taking forever.. the pictures i mean.. ok nevermind.. ill just put one picture up for now..

These are all taken when we visited D & L and Amber, Dayna, Leah and little miss Ruby in August.  It was a short visit so we packed it tight with fun!  Thanks very much D&L...we had a hoot!  And now we finally know where you live:)
