okay we're going for three tonight
well today we had a few firsts ........my tulips bloomed and the girls were quite excited
i mowed the lawn .................yup i think thats pretty awesome since it's april in alberta :)
we have 2 chickens as of monday ( now we can trade chicks kar) and the one chick laid an egg yesterday (some  more squeals of delight)
and i just looked at them tonight and i saw another but i left it to hear some more excitement.
dwight used the new shit tank today and in 5 hrs he spread as many loads  as the old one would have taken over 14 hrs....so you guessed it ............ more sqeals of delight too  :)................. no i just couldn't resist, but he was happy about it.

WE are doing great and i hope you are too .
we're having awesome summerish weather and we're loveing it .......but thats gonna end tommorow.  Oh well all good things gotta end too.

i have a companys coming barbecue cook book and i think i'll be using it a lot

SMOKY BACON DRUMSTICKS
heat barbecue

combine
1 TB smoked sweet paprika( i got mine from the bulk barn)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

sprinkle on
6 drumstiks thawed
wrap drumsticks with 1 slice of bacon each and secure with toothpicks.

Fry in barbecue on medium but turn off burner thats under chicken
takes about 1/2 hr super juicy and i only made 5. shoulda made 7 cuz the kids wanted  to eat dwights.

Easter Weekend

Easter weekend was pretty good. Could have been better though for me.. not complaining though, im just sayin. Friday night i worked 2-9.. well 2-8ish.. they let me go home early cus it wasnt busy.. but i didnt get home till about 9 anyway.. so it didnt make much difference. Betty had the car cus wazzas ute was temporarily not driveable, so Dwayne picked me and dropped me off at the shed. A bunch of Perth guys were down, so John was camping at a beach called Dingos.. need a 4x4 to get down there so no point in me going, Betty had gone down there too but her and wazza came back up from there at about 10 or something. Saturday i hung out with john and the guys from perth.. no other girls. wasnt too bad.. but i wasnt feeling the greatest though either.. had a cold and all that shit.. really annoying. Oh well. Sunday hung out with ppl from perth again.. and some of the Albanians. Monday i worked.. well was supposed too.. Betty and me both did have to work.. she started at 7.. and me at 8. She was sick and tired.. i was tired. So the supervisor called some ppl up to replace us, she was like good on ya.. i was young once.. its a public holiday dont worry about it, theres other girls who want more hours.. we wer elike yes! so we both went home at like 9:30.. slept till 11 30 or something.. Then later went to see wazza and john, who were both working on wazzas ute. THen me and john went to Muttenbird beach his family was there, swam for a little while.. was pretty cold though in the ocean so swam in inlet instead. Then we went for a bike ride.. kinda like mountain biking... kinda different from what im used to but oh well. the view was quite nice.

here are some pics to show you guys an idea of what ive been doin here. Last Friday was my day off last week, so i went fishing with johns parents and janel. I dont have a picture of all the ones we caught but at least i got one. I caught three salmon by the way :) first time i caught a fish! pretty cool. My but was sore the next day though, we were out on the boat for 5 hours or something, was really nice weather, nice and sunny.didnt really catch anything for like the first 2 3 hours.. but oh well was still good. Saw some seals.. that was really cool. There were so many of them just sprawled out all over the rocks, bunch of lazy animals. Really cool though.

so here's the update

Lolli

Kyleighs school has spirit week this week.  The theme was candy land.  The school was transformed in to candyland over spring break- there is a castle, tissue lolli pops, a king candy dude hidden around the school somewhere etc.  Today was dress up day.  I looked on line, and decided with the supplies we had on hand, Lolli would be the easiest for me to do.

I had the dress already, and used supplies from my lovely stash!
