this is what happens when i leave the kids for a little while.

Damon and vaseline do not mix well together. neither does Kate and vaseline. it took a long time to get clean and she's still a tiny bit greasy.

My day

I got sooo unbelievably spoiled for my bday..seriously can not believe i got what i did! Soo at the moment i am now typing at my new laptop... that john bought for me. crazy hey. i still cant believe it. I also got 4 big red mugs from johns parents, (and something else, youll see in the picture) and some hot chocolate powder from Rob :)  both things that i wanted :) and also from john i got some bead thing cutters.. for beading.. and a bead sorter, cus my beads are kinda a mess. And from betty i got a massive mug, its huge, and ugg boots for here, yes it does get cold enough to wear ugg boots.. it was 2 degrees here on monday morning.. and i also got lindt chocolates and a little friendship card..  And we had for dinner, bettty and wazza came over for dinner too, breaded chicken drumsticks, fries and salad :) and for dessert, which i didnt know about, we had apple crumble with icecream/cream/ or both..(i had both) it was very good :) And karen heres that picture of me as a twenty year old :).. And now cant wait for the big party on friday! A bunch of the girls are sleepin over at the farm..should be good!

Hi Dawna,   Hope your day is awesome so far.  Your teenage years are behind you now. This picture is of you on your 2nd birthday. Now we can add a 0 to that.  How time flies.

Mom raking,Dad on the harvester, Jeff driving the truck, and Mattew packing. Damon was very excited to be in the tractor with Opa. He was very upset when it was time for lunch. Kate was in on the action too. Kate and I rode with Jeff for a few loads.

Oh yah a tornado also came down in taber and now i know my dear brother loves us and me :) cuz he phoned  and told us ...........crazy hey .........Jeff 7 hrs away and he told us in Taber that a tornado hit so get in the basement.................anyway it took off a haysheds roof and twisted 2 pivots upside down.  So no earthquakes here just crazy tornados.........i don't know which one i'd prefer.  Neither i guess hey :) kinda dumb question!

and the old people out here are saying that too.



So some peoples sidings looked like its been shot at but our siding is fine.  the corn however was beaten flat to the ground.  It looked just awful..........nope i did not get out soon enough for a pic.  Now the corn is growing and looking much better.  Good thing it was still young enough because once it gets past a foot and hailed bad on it aint coming back.

My rhubarb looked like it got beaten up by a bear.  SO i harvested it the morning after and i got a thatsa bowl almost full.  Not the HUGE one but the size under it.. CRAZY

the soil was like concrete after all that sheeted rain and hail  so i borrowed the neighbours rototiller for my garden and..............yup.......................... I fell in love ...................so now i am searching for a good and not so pricey 20 inch rototiller of my own :)

The flooding the next day...................now all the massive puddles are gone ..............pumping water for the third year in a row in the spring and cactuses grow here............................ironic isant it :)

Amber had a field trip and saw a whole lotta birds ..............was pretty neat. 5 days left of school......... YAE

Just some randoms.. the second one of us is not that good..but ya and the wave one is one of many i took.. this is a result of a storm coming.. was supposed to be quite big.. the storm. the next day the waves were supposed to be a 6m swell or something.. this day was 4meters or something. was really cool to see.

my first thought was "this can't be my father-in-law. he has hair!!"
