Christmas Day the North Central Alberta way

All family that live here came for dinner which was at 2 pm.  Lots of food was prepared (stuffing got burned) and leftovers were divided.  (Pictures of the diners & the loaded table are on Missy's camera.)  After dinner almost all went to play in the snowy weather.  The kids, young & older, had lots of fun.  The youngest and oldest stayed in the warmth of the house as well as two dish washers.   Enjoy some pictures-
                                                                      Fun, fun, fun.

Some ways of sliding down the hill worked better than others-

Jeff & his helper had to feed but he did get milking off.
Some people weren't happy with the hill so the tractor was brought in to build it up-

Why can't I go outside and play? :(

Tree stuck in the corner

Grandkids unwrap their gifts
Do you think Damon likes his pillowcase?
Colouring with their new stuff on the table that Aunt Ro made for D,K & B
After the gkids were in bed then it was the adults turn for Chinese gift exchange.
( Missing- oldest adults and the newest adult.)

Success

Successful trip to the city- wedding dress ordered, bridesmaid dresses ordered (yesterday from Sears) and Teri's grad dress bought.  I'd say that is success. :)
Traffic a pain and lineups in the stores but what do you expect in December?

October.

This is a long one folks :)

Starring these 2 crazies.

Dancing. Happens every day. Can't remember what they were doing in the picture on the right. I think they were getting ready for pictures?
My lovely sister agreed to take pictures of us. I was stressing a little bit about outfits, now I know what everyone else goes through! It was pretty fun though. Dennis took us to this place I had totally forgotten about! It's a secret location ;)

Our garden's produce. Thanks for planting it Jen!! Cucumbers died. Beans didn't even have a chance - this was due to late planting and my own fault :( But hey, we got tons of potatoes and some carrots. And a potato that looks like a pretty deformed calf.
The story of the spider. I was out taking pictures of the girls and was trying to get a cool one of the web in the branches - you can kindof see it in the top left there in the background. Well, this little guy scared me while floating around and I thought it was pretty cool how he (or she) is just nicely flying around on it's string of web. He did make it back to the branches though, as you can see :)
I was trying to take pictures of the moon, but Bentley was more entertaining.
  More trampoline adventures.
  Audrey occasionally tries break dancing.

Our trip to Taber. Ruby's rock collection. Leanne and her train on their way to cross the raging river.
 Taber Park.
 Up one of the coulees.

 Oh, cousins :)
 Jamie-Lynn is not impressed
 Audrey's face - pure joy
The quad is such a hit! But it gets a little dangerous when Bentley decides to duck under branches and not look where she's going
 Bath time!
Home-made telescope. Tripod and paper towel holder thingy. I'm sure she sees the planets quite clearly
Aaaand we got snow. Audrey doing more break dancing.
  1 little peanut
And 2 little peanut. There's a reason why one of Dennis' names for Audrey is 'cheeseball'
I think I should bring her out in public like this, yes?
All right mom, that's enough. Lets put a cap on it ok? Ok.
