I'm still not sure if i have shown you guys where i am living at the moment, and have been for quite awhile, minus the two months i was in neerlandia. So i'll just post a pic :)
its alright living here. But nothing is quite like living in the country.
Just a little too much brick and concrete for me here :) . Beautiful view though, so i can't complain about that:)
*News just in* The peanut is still missing! A family meeting has been called and everyone's attendance is of upmost importance. Jeff's starting to think it doesn't want to be found. He exclaims "Oh, peanut, where can you be? {everyone hears crickets} Dwight yells that he's found the peanut. Dad calls bullshit. Dennis nods and seconds the motion. Andrew says he doesn't care who finds the peanut as long as it gets found. Rob just wants it found before it gets rotten. All of a sudden...

MayDayMayDay
PJ day...an easy Tuesday. Ali figured she could sleep in for an extra 45 minutes. Ummm, no. :)
Logan does this wierd quick kick when he throws a ball. Also, he go smacked in his head and eye. He ran away and came back with his hockey helmut. It kept him safe.
We were giggling abotu Logan's back kick/throw and then Ali jokingly did her own um, lady-ish throw.
Buttercups anyone? People even pull up in our driveway and takes pics. Obviously horses are no fan of them.....
...so Ali fed 'Vixen' some grass before the other horse noticed. Ginger is a bully and will bite this one in the butt whenever we feed them and she doesn't get any. Brat. Must be the older horse or something:)
GRade 1 went on a fieldtrip to the Bee Center at Fry's corner but popped into Manoah Manor first. These guys were so giddy and happy to hear the kids sing. It was kinda moving too....seeing Mrs. VanOene bopping away and enjoying it so much. One old man ended up falling asleep in his wheelchair though...and that was kinda funny.
Miss Schur. is one of Logan's teachers. His favorite is def Miss VJagt though. If you've ever met her you'd like her better too:)
Here's Grandma's peeps....
There's Mrs. VO.
Logan got to read his book to Grandma and she signed the paper and everything.
Logan has to take a book from the grade 1 classroom and bring it home to read to one of us everyday. Melissa, Dawna and Rochelle have also read a lot of the books he takes out...today's book says that Rochelle had it before....many moons ago:)

Up, up & away! Well, almost.
It was an exciting morning at JCS. Remax brought their huge hot air balloon to the field and if all went to plan the kids would have been able to go up in the basket, up to 50ft in the air. Although it was a super beautiful day, it was too windy to fly. A bummer, but they got to see them try get the balloon up and the ones who wanted to could go in the basket and pull the flame lever. The kids had a fun exciting morning and I'm sure they'll remember it for a long time!
The grade 1's waiting and watching the balloon get filled with air.
They tied the basket and balloon to the truck to keep it down. I pictured a big gust of air and then that nice white Ford flying thru the air too:) The huge balloon ended up whirling towards the grade 1's who had to quickly get out of the way.
The guy let us all take a peak inside the balloon. It was very noisy b/c of the huge fan trying to get the thing inflated.
Time to roll it back up. The kids had to help bunch it all back into the bag. It looked like one of those 1 tonne bags of grain that dad used to get, (still gets?) when it was all back in its bag.
Then he tipped the basket right side up and cranked on the flame. The kids were stoked! It was so hot.
They all got to do it too. Some chickened out and even claimed to be sick b/c they were so afraid ....but not these 2. :)
Pretty fun morning, and a rare opportunity. I guess the Remax balloon is available 2 times a year in BC, as they travel across Canada to the other offices. Usually the air show and Agrifair get it so we were all excited to get the chance. Anthony deHaan works for Remax....it's not what you know.... :)
