some pics from my camera

Sorry, mine didn't get shared, so here are some of them... I can email any over that you might want.  Just let me know.

err... how do you put this into words?

These pics cracked me up- you can see so many things changing in each pic... car in the background, sheer panic of bugs, sheer happiness, a hair raising experience, and a scarf scenario... worth a share!

Engagement Party

Right now I am sitting in the Byl's office,  And sitting with a coffee. Bundled up with two pairs of socks, and two sweaters and a scarf and a blanket. And editing/going thru pics from the engagement party. They don't have heated houses here, and im not really doing anything very strenuous to make me break into a sweat, so here i am, cold toes, and sitting on my rear. Its pouring rain outside and windy. The water is quite choppy and wavy, seen a wind surfer out on the water for a little while, they usually dont go on this beach here, not the right wind direction or something usually.  I thought that guy was kinda crazy cus a thunderstorm was coming,  but he was gone before the mini storm started. Could hardly call that a storm. There was/is a destructive wind warning for today. its calmed down now though.
Last night was Johns 'last dinner he had cook' day at the Rev's.  One of the rule things to board there is you have to cook one day of the week. they all take turns, and for the rest the Rev is on a roster, he goes to ppls houses from the congregation for dinner.  After dinner we played shuffleboard, to make the night a bit more 'special' cus John is leaving.  John has been studying his electrical stuff  pretty steady for the past 2 weeks. Well actually he has been studying for his capstone almost the whole time we've been going out. I do not know how he does not get sick of all that studying. But lately he's been studying every other day basically. his big test is next week Saturday or the following Monday, So we are going to Albany this Saturday for about 10 days. He'll be doing review with two of the lecturers, to get him even more prepared for the test.  I'm looking forward to going to Albany too, havent really been there for quite awhile. But now I've got a whole solid week there:)  Definitely taking my camera:).  I also just bought the paper for my invitations:) Finally! found Kraft paper. and it's cardstock too so its sturdy:),  I hope to get them printed sometime this week, get that part done.
All the people who are coming to Canada!!! :)

Simone Caity Me John  Bevan  Callum Rob

Warning:Missy you are gonna have your hands full with the guys for the wedding.. :) We have been pretty busy on the weekends, lately for the past month or so we have been hanging out lots with Callum and Jess, they are getting married Oct 11, Callum is Johns best man, and John is also in their wedding party.  We usually hang out on Sundays and have dinner at Jess's parents house, And then after dinner we play a game, usually sequence.  John and Callum are on the same team always, and man when they win they act like they won the world cup. No joke, they do fist pumps and kick the air, and this past Sunday, John tried to do the worm dance. Man that was so funny. he tried, but failed. and then he just laid there on the carpet.  we asked him what he was trying to do, cus we couldn't tell, and he said the worm. Flip we laughed so hard.. I guess you had to be there.

Dave had never heard of Ghost Gum, so Andrew showed him how to make it.  Andrew's licking his off.... must have been good!
We went on a walk.  This is who came.  It started down pouring half way through!
Can you see all the water drops in the water?!?!
 pausing for a rest
It rained half the day n Sunday, so we all were walking around in make shift ponchos.  The Hoffords had to go home b/c well.. their tarp and tent were more like sieves than anything else.  The youngest 2 kids beds (pack and play too) had pools of water on them, so they checked out early.
