Cheynes Beach

So for Johns birthday a bunch of us went to Cheynes Beach. We left at about 7:30ish in the morning, took about 45 min to an hour to get there. Cooked up some bacon and egss on the bbq there, then went 4*4ing to a beach. there was a bit of a confusion/misunderstanding though cus some left from where we had breakfast to fill up their car quickly. the one part that was clear though was the beach we were going to, Back Beach, but theres 2 different ways to get there. One goes pretty directly there like a 4*4 track but not nearly as long, kinda.. And the other one is more interesting, a much longer track too. So 3 cars, Johns and 2 others went the long way, and they all went the short way.. They were there for a while before we actually got there. Anyways so we just all hung out there for awhile. THen we left to go the Cheynes beach. Not that far from each other, hope i am not confusing you here. Anyways. Cheynes beach is really really long, and its got dunes to drive in and all that. maybe itll be a bit clearer with pictures. Anyways so we went to the dunes. Bluff Creek i think that area is called. John got stuck on top of the flippin dune. Usually that dune, which is always pretty huge, is more flat at the top, so you can drive your cars on top, but this time it was very steep on each side.. just to a line really at the top. . so he just kept driving along the dumb thing, well until he got bogged, while i am kinda freakin out..  Anyways he had to get all the other boys to pretty much just lift it up and drag it to one side otherwise it would have just tipped if they just pushed it to one side..pretty funny after. The guys all later went sandboarding, i didnt really dare at first.but then way later i went with Simone, one of the other girls there, then i was pretty much hooked.. sandboarded for the rest of the afternoon, i was quite exhausted. But at first though i couldnt go at all. I was just pushing myself down the hill. So i looked for a more steep one.. Found one and stayed there for awhile. tried to stand on the board going down.. not really that easy to steer. Was a lot of fun though. It was quite exhilerating :). And it was the most beautiful day too. The sun was shining and there was hardly any wind. Left at about 4:30 from Bluff Creek. got back into albany at about 6:30. Had supper at mcdonalds. Then went to Johns, Rob, his brother was gonna have ppl up for a bonfire. They came, and john invited his friends too, the same ones as at the beach so we all just sat by the fire, pretty nice. I got bit by a bull ant that night too, kinda painful i must say.  And now since you are probably so very sick of reading all this, i will put up some pictures

Love you Dawna:)
I love reading about your adventures in Australia. Do any 'old' (you know, like my age:) people do these crazy beach trips or only the younguns? If I ever go to Australia, and if you are still there could you take me to this place? :)

First of all A trivia question- How many guys does it take to get John unstuck.................
Answer- 8. Plus one to hold the beer.
Lame I know but that is me!
DJ I don't get tired of reading your stuff. Love the pics. No wonder you don't want to come home. Look at where you get to have fun. Home (Neerlandia, I mean) will be BORING for you.
Love you. You might miss the camping but you will be here for Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!
