It's happily living on my fridge now...and after I taped everything up there I realized they are all girls except for Jeff (same old story hey Jeff?)

Hello all, There has been activity on the shop yet.  The mezzanine went up. The work bench is done.

   There is a gate incorporated in the railing for ease of putting stuff up there. The scaffolding is in the way.

                                   Jeff just barely fits up there.  The concrete floor is 12 feet down.

Jeff would like to put a lunch room up there complete with a fridge, coffee pot, and what have you so that lunch can be had up there.

Kitty tickles for Teri:)

We got an invitation from Logan to come to school on Tuesday.  They sang songs for us, showed us a video they made about their favorite book and then, the big event...make hot chocolate and eat the shortbread cookies they made (the teacher promised that they had all washed their hands, anyone who's been in a grade 1 classroom of 28 students knows how dirty/snotty their little hands can be, yuck:) 

Ali made lots of tiny snowflakes last night...and then woke up at 3:30 with the flu.  She stayed home today and chilled with us.  She slept almost all day but hasn't puked again.  Hopefully she's ok tomorrow because it's the whole school's practice for the Christmas concert at the venue and then we're all off to the actual concert tomorrow night.

Since we've had not one, but two rats in here, it was time to get a cat.  So after looking for a few weeks on Craigers, we found one last Thursday. Included food, litter, toys and everything. And the cat was free and she's spayed, bonus.  If she does a shitty job we can't even get our money back ;)

snow and more snow.

I haven't been able to get anywhere the last two days b/c its snowing like a banchy. so now that its done I can clean off my truck. theres about a foot of snow on top of it and right behind it!
and no more tramping out to the play ground and swings. the snow is almost up to my knees.

Truffles

3/4 margarine (soft), 3/4 cup sugar, 2 cups oats, 3 T cocoa, 1/2 t vanilla (optional), 1 T water. Mix all ingredients together VERY GOOD! Roll in instant chocolate.

Winter is here

Winter is here, so with that comes sewing. 2 new little sewers are learning the ropes or stitches and the 3rd wants a part of it too.

 Winter also brings books, ...................lots and lots of books

 Apparently it also brings babies, ..................................... No not me................:)
We had 2 extras this week b/c Dwights cuzin Anna had a baby girl.

 Here's the 3 projects we did a coupla weeks ago.  Leah started to hand sew and then I finished it off for her the quick and strong way.

 HE insists he still has a little bottom :)

 and she is just weird................must be a daughter of her father.

Lot of pictures!!! K so everyone, I have Grandma's name for Christmas. Since she has that digital picture frame, I figured she'd appreciate it if she got a bunch of new pictures from all of us. Peanut had a peanut!

Hey guys..just an fyi that our cousin Natasha and her hubby Dan had a baby boy on the 3rd.  Grandma called yesterday and asked that I let my sib's know. His name is Eli Daniel and he was 10 lbs.  (She was due the 22nd of Nov.) All is a.o.k.  :)
Grandma flew out to Ontario today....and won't be back until Jan.7th so if you call her and she doesn't answer...now you know why:)
