Coral Bay and Exmouth

First place we stopped i think.. kind of a random spot tho. So. many. flies.

One of the warning signs that Caity was not too pleased to see.  Imagine hitting a cow. yuck.

Carnarvon. First place we stayed the night. We swagged it, as in we slept in swags. The swag i slept in is the one Simone is by. I was so freakin claustrophic, didnt help that i could barely turn around in the dumb thing, or that i had a -inferno sleeping bag. You'd think i was ready to survive a freezing blizzard , not a +18 night.

Random old truck with advertising on it. At a truck stop thing.

in Coral Bay. We stayed in a lodge thing, our room is the farthest door you can see on the top level.

Some bird decided to visit. Not sure what the name of this one is, might have been bob. Or billy.

All those beige looking mound things are Termite nests. There were so many, its crazy, and they are so tall too, some were pretty close to the road and then were about the same height as our car, sooo taller than 6 ft.

We saw only a few cows on the way, thankfully, and they were all on the side of the road, not on it. There were soo many sheep though. had to stop quite a bit for them, and slow down. Its cus theres all these cattle stations, and instead of having fences along the roads, they just let them roam wherever. each station is seperated by fences that go horizontal across the road, and instead of a fence on the road, theres a grid that cars can just drive over. Apparently the cows wont cross over the grid to the next station.

the Exmouth sign

Turquoise Bay. Snorkelled here, it was so cool. The water is so clear and blue, it was amazing. its like a whole different world in the ocean. there were so many colourful fish, and coral. took videos of it all with johns go pro. Simone did that, shes a pretty experienced swimmer and is used to breathing with the snorkelling gear shit. i had bought a little yellow board thing to help me swim, which did not work, try swim around with one arm and flippers. A lady saw me and Caity struggling to swim, we probably looked like a bunch of lunatics with how much splashing around we did.. and she let us borrow her noodles. Wayyy easier.

Some parrots

An emu

A gorge we walked to, was so hot that day, even more so when you have to walk down into little valley things, they werent huge or anything at all like that but when its 35 degrees and youve got no water, or wind to cool you down.. it kind feels like you are gonna cook from the inside out.. welll it wasnt actually that bad, and it wasnt that far to walk.. maybe 20 minutes or so. but still, just imagine.

This water was so so blue. and clear. Not completely sure what this little place was called..  Osprey beach or something like that.

Looking at these pics again. Love that you're loading sunny pics for us...(it was rain/snowing here today)

But for the stray animals sign: Isn't it just an epic Australian game of kangaroo leap-cow? He's clearing that cow by a mile! Win!
