Spring break...

We're into the second week of spring break over here...the first flew by crazy fast with work stuff but this week will hopefully be more fun.
Today is looking to be our only day of sunshine this week so I figured we'd better get outside while we can.  Got what I had to do this morning done and headed out after lunch.  Never really explored these parts of Chwk before...lots of old barns and other pretty stuff (mom, I should take you for a drive here one day if you wanna)...

 We walked on the dykes by Camp River Rd/Jesperson/Gill Pit area.  Hadn't been out this was in a long time, if ever.   We kinda walked down the dyke into the farmers field to pick some little flowers (weeds:)

 Mt. Cheam was pretty close up from here.   You can see the people walking on the dyke...that's were we had just gone for our walk.  This pic is from the road though.

 Then we went to Gill pit.
And found some 'super sharp' fish teeth.....

 and then Ali found a frog hiding in some moss on a tree.  We let it go right away...

 Big wall of mountain for a view while milking.  This is the same farm just 20 ft over to the right.  Reminds me of Cole rd barns.

 Then some farmer along Camp River Rd. had his cows outside.  They were pretty filthy so maybe he needed to get them out of the barn so he could scrape.

We made it to the Agassiz bridge and played there for a bit.  It's pretty noisy under there when the trucks roll on over.  I think a bunch of people get their wedding pics taken under here.  

Someone left some sweet Valentine messages for 'KT'...one lucky girl hey:)  The kids thought the messages were nice....'mom mom take a picture bc/ it says I love you:)'  

and this last picture is from last week Tuesday while taking care of the goats/dogs....I came in the barn one afternoon and there was a brand new tiny goat in the pen. Somebody was naughty!  The momma must have snuck out of her pen one night a few months ago because M&M had no clue she was even pregnant!  :)
