Alberta's center

Hello again. Today I will say a few words about our recent company. ;) They came on Wed. shortly after 6 p.m. when yours truly was busy at a grad dinner, sweating my head off (literally). The next day, which was Thurs. (just in case you weren't aware of that) Karen helped Jo with the second coat on Damon's new room (nice colours) Ro did a lot of babysitting, one place from 12:30-5 then straight to the next place from 6- midnight. and the men did a favour for Missy, bringing her garbage to the dump, since she didn't have a vehicle big enough to do that. Then yours truly and her hubby went to a wedding reception. Since we had such fine company we did not attend the ceremony.tsk tsk. Then on Canadas birthday we decided to find the center of Alberta. But as you can see at the very bottom of the picture, it was very muddy.
And then we find out, after going back to the beginning that.........we were on the quadding trail not the actual walking one. So Jen when your family comes and IF it didn't rain like crazy, that might be an excursion we do with you. Maybe some geo caching could be done there.

So we decide to go to Ft. Assiniboine (sp?) where it is all sandy. We see wild strawberries, nice views and take some flower pictures. too

.

After we got home we had a fire with J&J & M. Then instead of leaving on Sat. they decided to go home Mon. so then they did some cleaning around the shop and red shed. Looks a whole lot better. Thanks Andrew & Karen. So we could visit a bit longer with them and 9 a.m. Monday morning saw them leave with one extra passenger. Teri is staying till next Wed., dividing her time with her two sisters, when she will keep Dennis company for the ride home.
