Apple Pie filling:
1 1/2 cups flour
3 cups sugar
1 TBSP cinnamon
24 cups 2cm x 2cm apple pieces
Mix all together in a huge bowl and put in pie shells right away before it gets goopy.
Filling that sits too long makes goopy ugly runny pies.
Fills 4 1/2 pies.
If you also want the measurements for your crust. It's 200 grams for the bottoms and 250 grams for the tops for a 9 inch deep dish pie.
Enjoy!

Is this the JCS apple pie recipe?
No, it's Cornerstones...
unless Jen forgot to go to the school kitchen and read the paper..............and then asked kar for their schools once she was home.........and kar was luckily still at school ..........sneaky Jen :), then it's Cornerstones. But no, I'm sure it's JCS's ............that all just sounds to confusing.
thanks Jen
yep, it is JCS's...I grabbed it out of the file cabinet and someone saw me and said 'isn't that like giving away the colonel's secret?' I just laughed and copied it anyway:)
So it gets goopy sitting in the bowl but not in pie shells? What's the difference. And I guess the secret is out if both Cornerstone and JCS have the same recipe.
