We (Karen,Leanne and I and maybe Gaffer?) spent a lot of time here back in the Brinx Rd. days. We played and 'fished' here many times with our sticks, fishing line, and hooks but never caught a thing. At the time I don't even think we knew about bait...lol.
Here's Roxy on her perch. Not as snowy as Zoë's though:)

Brinx road?? I thought we had an Oma Brink/Brinx/Brinks...
yup, 46278 Brinx Rd...yellow barns in the bend of the road. Google map it if you like. And we had an Oma Brink too. Grandma's mom. She first married Opa Doesburg but then he died and she remarried a Mr. Brink. I don't know her maiden name before that though. Mom, help :)? And is Oma's Brouwers or maybe Bouwers?
Oma's maiden name is Brouwers. Oh did you hear the Oma's sister, Tante Nelly passed away? She was 79.
Oma Brink's maiden name is Vanderwal. So Marianne Mul is related through the Hoeksema side and her fiancee is related through the Vanderwal side.
Awe, Brinx Road, brings back ssooo many memories. Bike rides, fishing with left over fishing line, the otter coming up a meter away from us scaring the ~&*$ out of us! Getting yelled at by the neighbor lady (who thought we shouldn't be playing there) walking through the culvert... yeah, goo times. (and I can't believe Dad and Mom let us play there!- but thanks!)
